This session focuses on our leadership responsibility for the career development of our teams while working from a social justice lens. In this work, the inequities and marginalization of our clients’ lives is front and center in our daily work. And so, in this world of work, being inclusive as a leader isn’t optional. Building a safe and inclusive culture requires leaders to connect with others authentically and set powerful examples by being inclusive even when it's not easy/convenient. This session offers actionable strategies and insights to build an inclusive culture and create a psychologically safe environment for people to thrive.

Learning Objectives: In this session participant Leaders will: 1. Recognize and articulate the differences between equity and equality. 2. Identify instances of inequity in the workplace and understand their impacts. 3. Apply principles of social justice to promote fair treatment and opportunities for all employees. 4. Implement strategies to create a more inclusive and equitable work environment.

THC/Cannabis Toxicology: Recognizing Impairment

With the legalization of marijuana and the recent innovations in the delivery and ingestion of Cannabis
in both psychoactive and non-psychoactive forms, there has been a surge of Cannabis related cases in
the criminal arena. This presentation is designed to educate attorneys and investigators on the DRE
process and how it applies when Cannabis is the drug perceived to be resulting in impairment.
